  • Dansk: Motivet er fra Marina Piccola på Capri. Maleren har set fra den naturlige havn mod nordøst. I baggrunden ses Monte Castiglione med klippehulen Grotta del Castiglione og på toppen ruinerne af en middelalderlig borg. I en studie af nogenlunde samme mål (olie på (papir? på) lærred, 38 x 53 cm) har Læssøe set ud over Capri by og Napolibugten mod Vesuv (Bruun Rasmussen, auktion nr. 795, 19. nov. 2008, kat. 248 (afb. i farver).
