Inscriptions
Norsk bokmål: Tillally Kongens Hauge 3/4 Miil fra Tranquebar 1789. Skrevet på påklistret etikett på forsiden som også er signert P. Anker. Påskrift bak på rammen som nå er fjernet: En prospekt af Gouverneuren General Major P. Ankers Lyst-Stæd, Tilally 1/2 Miil udenfor Trankebar. Tegnet av ham selv og mig foræret. Carsten Anker hans troe Broder.
English: Inscription on label stuck on the front which is also signed P. Anker: Tillally Kongens Hauge 3/4 Mile from Tranquebar 1789. Inscription on the back on the frame which has now been removed: A view of Governor Major General P. Anker`s recreational residence, Tilally 1/2 Mile outside Trankebar. Drawn by himself and bestowed upon me, Carsten Anker his loyal brother.
