Summary[edit]

Description

PLEASE, NO invitations or self promotions, THEY WILL BE DELETED. My photos are FREE to use, just give me credit and it would be nice if you let me know, thanks.

I have hiked here before but heard about this mural while at the coffee shop and had to go see it since it is very close to where I live.

This mural is on the Beechville Lakeside Timberlea Rails to Trails (The BLT Trail) and under the Highway 103 overpass. It is part of the Trans Canada Trail is the world's longest network of recreational trails. When fully connected, the Trail will stretch 24,000 kilometres (15,000 mi) from the Atlantic to the Pacific and to the Arctic oceans.

The magnificent murals on the highway 103 overpass as you approach the trailhead for The Bluff Trail.

Blackbook Collective Art and Clothing, a company formed by local artists, undertook this project. They designed the murals, engaged a talented group of artists to do the work, and executed the project in a matter of days.

Various groups shared equally in the costs associated with the project.
