Description
Nederlands: Overblijfsel van een wierde tussen de Tjamsweersterweg en het Dominee Christophoripad, ten zuidenn van de spoorlijn Groningen-Delfzijl. De wierde heeft een hoogte van 2,68 meter boven NAP en wordt op basis van vondsten uit 1987 gedateerd op Late IJzertijd tot Romeinse tijd. Na de Romeinse tijd werd de wierde verlaten en rond de 7e eeuw weer bewoond. Op de kadastrale minuut (vroege 19e eeuw) is de wierde reeds onbewoond. Ten noorden van de spoorlijn ligt ook nog een uitloper van de noordflank.[1]
