English: Stele. Tomb slab, one of a pair. Date: probably 500-535. Northern Wei dynasty (386-534). Stone with incised decoration. Dimensions: H. 19 3/4 in x W. 39 1/4 in x D. 3 in. The depiction of the landscape, the tall, slender figures and the horse accurately decorated with incised ornaments, on this stone slab from a coffin are examples of the pictorial style in northern China during the early 500s.
Français : Stèle funéraire d'un groupe de deux. Date probable : 500-535. Dynastie des Wei du Nord (386-534). Incisions sur pierre. Dimensions: H. 50.2 cm x L. 99.7 cm x P. 7.6 cm. La description du paysage, les personnages aux silhouettes minces et leur cheval décorés par de fins ornements ciselés sur cette dalle de pierre provenant d'un cercueil sont de beaux exemples du style pictural, en Chine, au cours des premières années du Vie siècle. |
