Summary[edit]

Description
Deutsch: Tornesch – In de Hörn 1 – Hof Meyer (Hof 8) – Baujahr: 1913 – Foto: 2019

English: Tornesch (Germany) – In de Hörn 1 – Farm Meyer ("Hof 8") – built: 1913 – Photo: 2019

- The photo shows the residential building of the former farm Meyer and the adjoining economic tract ("Hof 8" after "Erdbuch" from 1788).

- In 1788 Peter Heydorn was registered as "Halbhufner". He was followed by H. Henk, P. Schüder, J. Rode, J. Hoyer and J. Kröger. The last farmer was Johann Meyer, who gave up farming in Esingen in 1963 and moved to Harsefeld in the district of Stade.

- Jacob Heuer had the main house built in 1913 in modern style. It is a two-storey, rectangular brick building, which is structured by plaster elements. The building is accentuated by a central gable (transverse gable). There you can see the initials of the client and the year of construction.

The windows were changed, they were originally divided several times.
