Deutsch: Tornesch (Schleswig-Holstein) - Jürgen-Siemsen-Straße 28 - Kirche - Baujahr: 1959/60 - Foto 2008 - Die Tornescher Kirche ist eine evangelisch-lutherische Kirche in Tornesch. Sie wurde 1959–1960 nach einem Entwurf des Architekten Günther Frank errichtet. Der Bau besteht im Wesentlichen aus einem rechteckigen Kirchenschiff mit Satteldach, das im Altarbereich beiderseits einen Einschnitt aufweist. Betonglasfenster und weitere, hell gestrichene Betonelemente lockern die Backsteinwände auf. Die Seitenfenster sind durch schräge Einschnitte der Seitenwand so angeordnet, dass ihr Licht zum Altar hin einfällt. An der südwestlichen Ecke erhebt sich ein über 30 m hoher Turm mit quadratischem Grundriss. Objekt war bis 2015 als Baudenkmal ausgewiesen. - The church of Tornesch is an Evangelical Lutheran church in Tornesch. It was built in 1959-1960 to a design by architect Günther Frank. The construction consists essentially of a rectangular nave with pitched roof, which has an incision in the altar area on both sides. Concrete windows and other brightly painted concrete elements loosen up the brick walls. The side windows are arranged by oblique cuts of the side wall so that their light falls to the altar. At the southwestern corner rises a more than 30 m high tower with a square floor plan.
