Description
English: Lepcha Tree (Scientific Name: oroxylon indicum)."Pasang Meto/ Meto Tsampaka "(Bhotiya/ Tibetan Name) Nepali Name Totola ko Phool- "Ko Ko Medo"(Tamang Name) is used considered as a traditional Lepcha flower used in special ceremonies, such as Weddings, Birthday, Worship and Funerals ceremonies. Medicinal Values: Treatment of tonsillitis, ulcer, soar throat, fever and multuple others.
Also used in Chinese traditional medicine and referred to as "jade butterfly".
