Français : Gravure de Nicolas Bertrand de 1515 montrant une séance du Parlement de Toulouse présidée par le roi François Ier. Cet événement fictif (François Ier n'a jamais présidé de séance du Parlement de Toulouse) a été mis en scène pour illustrer l'importance du Parlement de Toulouse dans la vie du royaume (premier parlement de province, en charge d'une grande partie de la France méridionale).
English: Engraving by Nicolas Bertrand from 1515 showing a session of the Parliament of Toulouse presided over by King Francis I of France. This fictitious event (Francis I never presided over a session of the Parliament of Toulouse) was staged to illustrate the importance of the Parliament of Toulouse in the life of the kingdom (first provincial parliament, in charge of a large part of southern France).
