English: 27 November 2012. Behind the fish stall in Holcombe Road Market, Tottenham, N17.
What's the "message" from a sign which is out-of-date, partly unreadable, and refers to an unexplained "traffic scheme" in a previous year? My "reading" is of sloppiness, a lack attention to detail, and a failure to care about completing a job properly. • Volker Highways should have removed their out-of-date notice. • If Haringey Highways staff inspected and signed-off the job, they too should have spotted this.
