Deutsch: Der untere und zentrale Bereich der Naturdenkmalfläche ist Feuchtgebiet. Er ist übersät von Wollgräsern und Schachtelhalmen; auch verschiedene Seggenarten und andere feuchtliebende Pflanzen sind anzutreffen. Die Pflanzendecke ist teilweise gestört und unterbrochen. Der feuchte Kernbereich ist großteils von einem Waldsaum umgeben. An den feuchteren Stellen wachsen verschiedenen Laubgehölze (Erle, Weide, Birke, Vogelbeerbaum, Ahorn) und an den trockeneren Stellen hingegen herrscht die Fichte vor, die durch Laubgehölze ersetzt werden sollen. Weiters kann für den eigentlichen Feuchtbereich eine in regelmäßigen Zeitabständen zu erfolgende Streumahd in Betracht gezogen werden, um so dem Boden Nährstoffe zu entziehen und das Eindringen von Gehölzpflanzen zu verhindern.
English: Natural Monument. The lower and central part of the national natural heritage area is wetland. It is pocked with wool grasses and horsetails; various sedges and other wet-loving plants are found. The plant cover is partially disturbed and interrupted. The wet core area is largely surrounded by a forest edge. On the wetter places grow different deciduous trees (alder, willow, birch, mountain ash, maple) and the drier places, however, there is the Spruce front, to be replaced by deciduous trees. Furthermore, periodically mowing can be considered for the actual humid conditions, so to withdraw nutrients from ground and prevent the penetration of coppice plants.
