English Baronies: A Study of their Origin and Descent 1086-1327, Oxford, 1960, p.43), of whom John de Tregoz (d.1300) (son of Robert de Tregoz (d.1268) by his wife Juliane de Cantilupe (whom he married in 1245) a daughter of William de Cantilupe (d.1251) and Millicent de Gurnay) was created Baron Tregoz, by writ of summons to Parliament dated 1297 (Cokayne, G.
