Français : Trix, spécimen de squelette de "Tyrannosaurus rex". Découvert en 2013 au Montana (Etats-Unis) par une équipe de recherche du Centre de biodiversité Naturalis de Leyde (Pays-Bas). Collections du Centre de biodiversité Naturalis, à Leyde, aux Pays-Bas. Numéro d'inventaire : RGM 792.000.
Détail des pattes postérieures et du pubis. D'après l'état des connaissances en juin 2018, il s'agit du spécimen de "Tyrannosaurus" le plus âgé connu (une femelle morte à un âge dépassant 30 ans) et du troisième spécimen le mieux conservé, avec 75% à 80% des os conservés. Le spécimen a été surnommé "Trix" par allusion à l'ancienne reine des Pays-Bas Beatrix. Exposé à l'occasion de l'exposition "Un T-Rex à Paris" au Muséum national d'histoire naturelle de Paris (France) du 6 juin au 2 septembre 2018. |
