Description
Deutsch: Trockenrisse im Wattboden nahe dem Hafen von Horumersiel. Man beachte, dass tieferliegende, noch feuchte Stellen weniger ausgeprägte Risse zeigen. Das spricht für Trockenrisse und gegen die sonst ähnlichen Synärese-Risse. Der Bewuchs auf dem Wattboden ist die Pionierpflanze Queller.

Eine nahegelenge Situation zeigt ein ähnliches Bild, in dem Teile des Bodens in Pfützen noch unter Wasser stehen. An den von Wasser bedeckten Stellen sind keine Risse zu erkennen.

Im Hintergrund sieht man Lahnungen und das Vergasungsschiff Hoegh Esperanza am LNG-Terminal in der Außenjade südlich von Hooksiel. Die Blickrichtung ist etwa nach Südosten.
