Français : Troisième congrès annuel de l’Association des cartothèques et archives cartographiques du Canada tenu à la Bibliothèque de l’Université Laval en juin 1969 et organisé par Yves Tessier, chef de la Cartothèque et un des quatre fondateurs de l’association en 1967. Séance de démonstration du système Miracode par Robert Leblond du Centre de documentation de la Bibliothèque. Le système Miracode développé par Kodak est un système de repérage automatisé de documents à l’aide de microfilms 16mm codés visuellement. Lors du microfilmage d’un document, des codes divers d’indexation sont enregistrés sur le microfilm en même temps que l’image du document. Une console de repérage permet un balayage des codes pour une recherche et les documents pertinents repérés sont affichés sur un lecteur de visualisation. Cet appareillage a été utilisé pour le projet Cartomatique-Histoire d’indexation des cartes anciennes des Archives du Séminaire de Québec, sous la direction de Robert Leblond.
