中文（臺灣）：廿九暝為全年的歲末、除夕，臺語又稱、「二九暝」、「三十暝」、「過年暗」、客語稱「年三十暗晡」。今日需進行辭年儀式，寓意「告辭舊年」並緬懷神佛與祖先一年來的庇佑之意。所有親族無論身處何方，皆需返回原鄉與家族團聚。實際上辭年儀式細分為祭拜佛祖、神明、地基主、門神與祖先等階段，祭祀對象不同，供品亦小異。 |
