Description
English: This is the Tsubasu-no-Kane or young Japanese amberjack's Bell, which is located in Shima, Mie, Japan. Tsubasu means "juvenile of Seriola quinqueradiata" in Japanese language. Japanese people think Seriola quinqueradiata is an auspicious fish. Local folklore says "If you ring this bell, you will be happy". People ring the bell to be happy with the blessing of an auspicious fish "Tsubasu".
