Summary

[edit]
Description The Gurukul Cluster is a large community of migrant workers who settled on the outskirts of Faridibad in Harayana, north India over ten years ago to mine a local quarry. In 1996 the Supreme Court closed the quarry due to the excessive number of Tuberculosis cases in the surrounding communities. Many families are still recovering from the devestating effects mining in the local quary had on their community.
