Description
English: Tomb of the Spanish military member Rafael Martínez-Illescas in the Los Remedios Cemetery in Cartagena (Spain). It reads:

The military garrison of this city and the Most Excellent City Council to the heroic Infantry Commander and illustrious Cartagenero Don Rafael Martínez Illescas, gloriously died for his country in the town of Coamo, Puerto Rico, on August 9, 1898. His remains were repatriated on June 22, 1915.

Español: Tumba del militar español Rafael Martínez-Illescas en el cementerio de Los Remedios de Cartagena (España). En ella se lee:

La guarnición militar de esta plaza y el Exmo. Ayuntamiento al heroico comandante de Infantería e ilustre cartagenero D. Rafael Martínez Illescas, muerto gloriosamente por la patria en la villa de Coamo, Puerto Rico, el 9 agosto 1898. Sus restos fueron repatriados el 22 junio 1915.
