Summary
[edit]DescriptionTuning The Cans.jpg | Cavity resonators (left) in a 145 MHz amateur radio repeater. The spectrum analyzer at right shows the sharp resonance curve of the cavity. Cavities are used instead of tuned circuits at high frequencies since at these frequencies the inductance and capacitance values required in a tuned circuit would be very small. They can have high Q_factors, approaching the frequency stability of quartz crystals. Check out that notch...lovely. | ||
