English: Tunnel boring machine KTF 280 in the German Mining Museum, Bochum.
Français : Un Tunnelier KTF 280 au musée des mines de fr:Bochum
Deutsch: Streckenvortriebsmaschine Krupp-Tunnel-Fräser KTF 280 im Deutschen Bergbau-Museum Bochum.

Diese Maschine war bei der Auffahrung des 24,1 km langen Stollens für eine Trinkwasserfernleitung Bodensee-Stuttgart eingesetzt. Sie fuhr eine Strecke von rund 9 km im Ornatenton des Braunen Jura auf. Dabei wurden folgende Maximalleistungen erzielt:

  • Vortriebsgeschwindigkeit: 5 m/h
  • Tagesvortrieb: 64 m
  • Monatsvortrieb: 847 m

Eine Schwestermaschine war ab 1967 im Steinkohlenbergbau auf der Schachtanlage Westerholt im Einsatz. Der Prototyp wurde dort bereits ab 1962 erprobt.

Technische Daten:

  • Länge ohne Trafo-Station, Zwischenförderer und Entstaubungsanlage: rund 14,5 m
  • Gewicht: rund 80 Tonnen
  • Schneidkopf einstellbar auf 2,70, 2,80 und 2,90 m, Drehzahl 0,7 U/min
  • Installierte Leistung an den Fräsern: 220 kW
  • Steuerdruck der Hydraulik: 100 bar
  • Installierte Gesamtleistung: 325 kW
