A household in Turpan with images of mosques sprayed over.

Summary[edit]

Description
English: A household in a predominantly Uyghur neighbourhood. Above the door, there are pictures of mosques, but these have been sprayed over. There are numerous other houses in the same neighbourhood with images of mosques above their doors that have also been sprayed over/painted out of view. This particular household also has a sign in Chinese saying "safe household" (平安家庭) right above the door.
