Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Geysers are hot springs that episodically erupt columns of water. They occur in few places on Earth. The highest concentration of geysers anywhere is at the Yellowstone Hotspot Volcano (northwestern Wyoming, USA). Twig Geyser is a moderately small, fountain-type geyser in the Fountain Group of Yellowstone's Lower Geyser Basin. It has a basin about 4.5 to 5 meters in diameter with a centrally-located vent. Eruptions vary in duration and consist of splashes that reach 1 to 2 or even ~3 meters high. Fairly brief pauses with a more-or-less sustained water level in the basin are frequent.
