Description
English: Two men in Sarajevo, ca.1930 From a Photography Album from a journey to Dalmatia around 1930 with over 360 orig. photographs. Gelatin silver prints on photographic paper. Each inserted in linen album with cord binding. The photographs mostly inscribed in German (album slightly rubbed). - Depicted: Various. places in Croatia: Susak, Fiume, Trsat (Trsat Castle), Split (fishing harbour, Diocletian's Palace). - Roman excavation site near Salona. - On the boat from Split to Trogir and architectural photographs of Trogir (Cathedral, Camerlengo Castle). - Ragusa (Dubrovnik). The harbour with English warships. - The island of Lokrum. - Montenegro, Centinje (locals at the market etc.). - The city of Mostar. - Sarajevo (numerous bazaar scenes). - Agram (Zagreb). - Vienna.
