Description
English: Members of the Hirden training and parading in Sarpsborg, Norway May 3rd, 1942. Hirden was the uniformed paramilitary branch of the Norwegian fascist party Nasjonal Samling (NS) during the occupation of Norway by Nazi Germany, modelled after the German Sturmabteilungen (SA).
Norsk bokmål: Hirdmønstring i Sarpsborg 3. mai 1942. Hirden var Nasjonal Samlings (NS') paramilitære, ideologiske tropper, før og under andre verdenskrig, fra 1934 til 1945. Medlemskap var obligatorisk for NS-medlemmer fra 1941. Hirdmennene var uniformert etter tyske forbilder, men bar ikke våpen.
