English: Military 'Indian Bush' summer uniform of a Norwegian serving in bl al-Saqi in southern Lebanon 1988 – 1990 as a solider of Norbatt, the Norwegian infantry battalion of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL). Cloth badges ('APC-PLT COY-A', Norwegian national sleeve flag etc.)
Photo taken at Færder Military Museum, a private collection of exhibits in the tunnels at Torås Fort, a former naval fortress on the island of Tjøme, Norway. The fortress was established by the Norwegian Armed Forces in 1938, but completed by German military forces with four canons as part of the Festung Norwegen during Nazi Germany's occupation of Norway in the Second World War. The fortress was closed down in 1999. The museum opened in 2018. Norsk bokmål: Sommeruniform ('Indian Bush') for norsk soldat i Norbatt, den norske FN-bataljonen i Libanon, en infanteribataljon som var del av Den norske FN-styrken i landet (NORCO) som igjen var underlagt FNs midlertidige styrke i Libanon (United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon, UNIFIL). Soldaten tjenestegjorde i Ebel es Saqi i søndre Libanon 1989–1990. Museet åpna i 2018. |
