Description
English: USCG Barque Eagle off San Francisco waterfront, California San Francisco Bay - Coast Guard Cutter Eagle, a three-masted sailing barque with 21,350 square feet of sail off San Francisco waterfront during the Festival of Sail Parade. The New London, Conn., based cutter's hull is built of steel four-tenths of an inch thick and has two full length steel decks with a platform deck below. Commissioned in 1946, Eagle is the oldest ship of the U.S. Coast Guard fleet.
