Description
English: Aleta Dust, a volunteer at the Raptor Conservancy of Virginia, presents a ghost owl to guests at the Halloween celebration at the National Museum of the Marine Corps. The ghost owl is known as such because of its white underbelly and face plate. When spotted at a distance in the night, the owl looks similar to what society perceives as a ghost.
