Description
English: Lorie Abrego, wife of Marine Staff Sgt. Gustavo Abrego of 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marines, walks off the field at Aloha Stadium after receiving a check for $1,000 and a plaque from the Honolulu Council of the Navy League. Abrego was one of seven spouses recognized for her contributions to service members. The Navy League and other private sponsors from Hawai'i presented the award to spouses from the Army, Navy Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, Hawai'i Army National Guard and Hawai'i Air National Guard at the 50-yard line before the kick-off of the 2004 Aloha Bowl.
