Description ARABIAN GULF (Nov. 20, 2014) – Sailors aboard the dock landing ship USS Comstock (LSD 45) man the phone and distance line to determine distance from and establish communications with the dry cargo/ammunition ship USNS Charles Drew (T-AKE 10) during an underway replenishment-at-sea. Comstock is part of the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group and, with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is deployed in support of maritime and theater security cooperation in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
