English: The U.S. Navy amphibious force command ship USS Estes (AGC-12) underway in Sinclair Inlet off Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, Washington (USA), on 28 July 1947. Note the mothballed Essex-class aircraft carriers in the background. On the right is USS Bon Homme Richard (CV-31).
