Description
English: The U.S. Navy destroyer USS Stormes (DD-780) off the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Washington (USA), in April 1945. She is painted in Camouflage Measure 22. Note the bow of the aircraft carrier USS Saratoga (CV-3) on the right. Saratoga had arrived at at the yard on 16 March and Stormes arrived in early April for a post-shakedown overhaul and left on 22 April 1945 for Pearl Harbor, Hawaii (USA).
