Description
English: Insignia of the U.S. Navy attack cargo ship USS Thuban (AKA-19), in 1957. This insignia features as its main figures a star and a dragon, which are symbols of the ship's name. THUBAN is a star in the constellation of alpha draconis - the dragon. The ship's amphibious mission is represented by the Landing Craft, Mechanized (LCM) held by the dragon.
