Description The U.S. Navy destroyer minelayer USS Tolman (DM-28) steaming through rough seas off Portsmouth, New Hampshire (USA), while on a trial run from Bath, Maine, to Boston, 27 October 1944. Note her camouflage Measure 31, Design 16D, mine tracks, and "K-guns" mounted on her after superstructure.
