| Description |
English: A crane lifts a Douglas A-1 Skyraider from the U.S. Military Sea Transportation Service aircraft ferry USNS Breton (T-AKV-42) at Naval Air Station Cubi Point, Philippines, in March 1966. The aircraft in front is an A-1H. Although the Bureau Number (BuNo) appears to be 139320, only 139620 (it crashed on 21 September 1956) and 139820 were A-1Hs. 139820 served with Attack Squadron 145 (VA-145) in Vietnam was later transferred to the 1st Special Operations Squadron, USAF. |
