Summary

[edit]
Description
English: US rooftop photovoltaics potential. Most states could obtain from 30% to 50% of all electricity used from rooftop photovoltaics. The lowest is Wyoming, at 14.3%, and the highest is California, at 74.2%. It is estimated that rooftop solar panels could generate 1432 TWh/year in the United States, 38.6% of the total. Alaska and Hawaii are not included. Efficiency was assumed to be 16%, and if 20% panels are used the potential is increased by 25%. Data
