Description
English: Uher CG350 cassette deck (1978-1980). List price of 1149 DM [1] - about as much as the top-of-the line Japanese models (excluding the Naks of course). The rendering can hardly convey it's size: the 350 was huge, about as big as Revox decks, and weighed 11 kilos. Almost half of internal space was occupied by the "programming computer" made from general-purpose logic ICs. In just a year or two, the newest crop of affordable microcontrollers made all this monstrosity unnecessary. Anyway, the "programmer" functionality was something that no one asked for ... and probably no one ever used.
