Summary[edit]

Description

The little white dot in the centre is the not-insignificantly sized steamer from the Outer Hebrides which is being chased into Uig Bay (at the north end of the Isle of Skye) by a fair old squally shower. The ferry outran the weather - which carried on straight when the ship turned left into the shelter of the hills and berthed at Uig, part of which village can be seen on the right of the photograph : See opposite photo - <a href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/conner395/2170453414)">www.flickr.com/photos/conner395/2170453414)</a>

The sea loch is Loch Snizort.
