Description Im Zweiten Weltkrieg wurden die alten Bauten der Altstadt durch Bomben teilweise zerstört - manche verfielen immer mehr. Seit Ende der 1970er Jahre werden die historischen Bauten saniert, so dass die Altstadt heute als schickes Wohn- und Flanierviertel gilt. Von der begehbaren Stadtmauer hat man einen schönen Blick auf die restaurierten Fassaden. Rechts zu sehen der »Metzgerturm« oder wie er auch noch genannt wird: der »Schiefe Turm von Ulm«.
