Description
English: This picture explains unidirectional and bidirectional Wolbachia induced Cytoplasmic Incompatibility. Unidirectional CI: Infected males mated with uninfected females results in early embryonic lethality. Where all other crosses are compatible. Bidirectional CI: Infected males with Wolbachia strain I mated with females infected by Wolbachia strain II results in embryonic lethality.
