Deutsch:
Bildunterschrift: „Die dem Regiment laut Ordre vom 30. September 1900 verliehene Standarte.“
Bilderklärung: „Standartenbild. Die zur Zeit geführte Standarte mit ihren Auszeichnungen. Die Stange ist noch dieselbe, welche 1717 der Leibeskadron verliehen wurde. Nach einer Beschädigung im Feldzuge 1866 und nach einer Verletzung durch Schüsse in der Schlacht bei Gravelotte am 18. August 1870 wurde sie nach Anweisung Kaiser Wilhelms I. 1878 gründlich ausgebessert. Um den oberen Teil wurde eine vergoldete metallene Hülse gelegt, in welcher ein Ausschnitt die Kugelspur von Gravelotte zeigt. Das im Laufe der Jahre und in den vielen Schlachten bis auf einen kleinen Rest vernichtete Tuch ist durch Allerhöchste Ordre am 30. August 1900 durch ein neues ersetzt, welches genau dem des alten der Leibeskadron von 1717 nachgebildet ist.

Auszeichnungen, welche der Standarte zuteil geworden:
1. L. O. 3. 6. und 14. 12. 1848 das Eiserne Kreuz in der Spitze und das Band der Kriegsdenkmünze 1813/14.
2. 7.8. 1835 das Säkular-Standartenband mit der Inschrift: „Errichtet 1717".
3. 12. 1. 1861 das Band des Militär-Ehrenzeichens mit Schwertern für den Feldzug 1848 in Schleswig-Holstein.
4. 14. 2. 1867 das Band des Erinnerungskreuzes von 1866 mit Schwertern für den Feldzug 1866.
5. 16. 6. 1871 das Band des Eisernen Kreuzes, an jedem Bandende mit einem großen Eisernen Kreuz und einer Schleife mit einer Rosette, welche auf einer Seite das Eiserne Kreuz und auf der anderen den preußischen Adler zeigt. Die bisherige Spitze wurde durch eine neue ersetzt, welche auf der einen Seite das Kreuz von 1813 und auf der anderen das von 1871 zeigt.
6. Vom 15. 7. 1895 bis 10. 5. 1896 war die Standarte mit Eichenlaub geschmückt.
7. 18. 8. 1895 das Band des Eriuncrungskreuzes 1870/71 mit den Namen der mitgemachten Schlachten und Gefechte.

8. 1. 1. 1900 das Säkular-Standartenband.“
