Description
English: Memorial for the former meetingplace of the tribunal of the district Hollerland, called Uppe Angst, in Bremen Oberneuland (Germany). Errected 1955.
Deutsch: Gedenkstein für die ehemalige Gerichtsstätte des Gohs Hollerland, genannt Uppe Angst, in Bremen-Oberneuland. 1955 von der Bauhütte der Baudenkmalpflege in Bremen ausgeführt. Inschrift (auf Plattdeutsch): Hier weer in ole Tieden de Richtestede von dat hollerlandsche Gogericht, dat vor de Karken ton Hoorn und to Overneeland hägt woorn is. Mannicheen Bosewicht hett hier sienen Lohn krägen. Dat Land in de Naberschub harr den Namen Deeveskamp’ un in’n Volksmun’n heet düt Plack Eer noch vondage uppe Angst.“
