Description
English: Conidia of the smut fungus Urocystis primulae are visible as a white powder around the anthers of a dissected pin-eyed flower of Primula vulgaris. The developing sexual spores are visible as a blackish brown mass in the ovary. The specimen was collected in dry coastal grassland at Killard Point, County Down, Ireland.
