Description
Čeština: Výstupy červeného pískovce u rybníka Propast, Hradec (Stříbrná Skalice), okres Praha-východ. Červený pískovec je v tomto kraji častý a oběvuje se i v architektuře místních kostelů (např. Sázava, kostel sv. Jakuba Většího v Rovné (Stříbrná Skalice). Na jaře při tání sněhu se z výstupů odlamují a opadávají působením vlhkosti vody, proto jsou výstupy vždy jasně vínově červené. Na leckterých se také daří mechům.
English: Red sandstone rises near Propast Pond, Hradec (Stříbrná Skalice village), Prague-East District, Czech Republic. The red sandstone is common in the region. It can be found as a material in the religious architecture (e.g. former Sázava monastery or the church of St. James the Greater in Rovná (Stříbrná Skalice village). These rises are often covered by mosses. Now in the situation when melted water (humidity) is removing oper layer.
