Utiliza data cartridges que contienen un disco rígido de 15,1 pulgadas y 10 MB de capacidad.ˈ• DEC TS11 – Unidad de cintas de ½ pulgada y 9 pistas (capacidad típica: 40 MB). ˈ DEC MicroVAX II (medio tapado en la foto) Procesador KA630 y hasta 16 MB de RAM. Sistema operativo VMS. Para uso de la Facultad de Informática. Lleva incorporados: ˌ Unidad de cintas TK50 (cartuchos de 5 ¼ pulgadas y 95 MB de capacidad). ˌ DEC RA81 – Disco de 14 pulgadas, capacidad: 456 MB. ˈ DEC MicroVAX II (tapado en la foto) Mismas características que el anterior. Para uso de la Facultad de Química. ˈ Equipamiento más cercano, de izquierda a derecha: ˈ Sin identificar. Posiblemente, máquina lisp Symbolics, con sistema operativo Genera. ˈ Sobre la anterior, unidad lectora de tarjetas perforadas DEC, modelo desconocido. ˈ Dos servidores de red 3Com, modelo desconocido. ˈ Sun Microsystems 3/180. ˈ Sujetos a la pared, sobre la unidad de cintas: ˈ Dos servidores de terminales Spider Systems T151 (10 puertos serie DB-25). ˈ A lo largo de la pared, junto al techo: cable Ethernet Thickwire (cable amarillo) que constituía el backbone de la red local a 10 Mbps. Los dos servidores de terminales están conectados a él mediante transceptores de tipo vampiro: uno de modelo desconocido (negro, hacia la derecha) y el otro un Isolan 1114 (hacia el lado izquierdo, sobre el aviso de “EVACUACIÓN”). |
