Température d'essai non stabilisée : mesures réalisées à la volée, sur une rampe de température (par exemple, vitesse de chauffe égale à 5 °C/min) (mode non stabilisé).
Par opposition, en mode stabilisé, les mesures (plus rigoureuses) sont réalisées sur des paliers de température, après stabilisation en température de plusieurs minutes de l'enceinte thermostatée.
