English: Formerly the Hilberry Theatre, the Gretchen C. Valade Jazz Center is yet another life for the storied venue. Opened as the First Church of Christ, Scientist, it was purchased by Wayne State University and converted to a live theatre. After 58 years, its next life is jazz. |
