Summary[edit]

Description
English: One of some pictures taken at the western side of the fortress. I read that only the western part was used as a fortification by the Urartians, but if one looks east from this area on can see what look like (reconstructed?) walls made of rubble, with wooden shafts sticking out, my guess is they are by the Urartians. It would be great if someone described what we see here, as I could find no decent description. My name is not quite right: on some other pictures I took on can see one can proceed further, but one sees mainly small footpaths all the way to the end of the downsloping hill. The main view then is the Van Lake.
