Description Varadharaja Perumal temple is major Vaishnava temple in Kanchipuram, Tamilnadu. The earliest mentions of the temple suggest it existed in the 7th-century. The Cholas renovated and expanded the temple in mid 11th-century to the current temple's design. The temple has attracted donors and patrons over the centuries.
