Description
Čeština: Václav Rusý (* 1911 – 1944) byl za protektorátu hlavním organizátorem ilegální organizace Ústřední vedení odboje domácího (ÚVOD) v západních Čechách. Od roku 1940 se skrýval v ilegalitě, později se aktivně zapojil do odboje na Plzeňsku. Byl zatčen gestapem 3. července 1942 u východu z Plzeňského nádraží; od 4. července 1942 byl trýznivě vyslýchán v Petschkově paláci v Praze; nakonec byl popraven 20. října 1944 v sekyrárně Pankrácké věznice v Praze. English: Václav Rusý (* 1911 - 1944) was in the Protectorate one of the main organizer of an illegal organization - the central management of domestic resistance (ÚVOD) in western Bohemia. Since 1940, he was hiding underground, and later became actively involved in the resistance in Pilsen region. He was arrested by the Gestapo July 3, 1942 at the exit of the Pilsen railway station; from 4 July 1942, he was painfully interrogated in Petschek Palace in Prague; Finally, he was executed to death in Pankrac prison in Prague on 20 October 1944 at 16:00.
